Regarding the 'Mountain of the Rogue Trail' coming off of N.River Rd. I am so excited!! We live at
Road. Our 20 acres backs up to BLM land. I think this would be a wonderful thing for the community in general.
I have three giant breed dogs and right now the only place I can take them is up on the logging roads on Sardine
Creek. Not the safest place in the county to be walking. But I always have my gun on my hip. I would be so
happy to have a trail right down the road. We have bulldozed alot of walking trails on our property, but I guess to
the dogs its just not the same as going 'bye-bye'. I really hope this passes.
some things are better left unsaid. But I'm probably gonna get drunk and say them anyway.:-)

I believe this trail system will be quite an asset to the community. It would also provide a great location for a
legal trail system. Over the past several years I have been involved with some local Mountain Bike racing teams.
These teams are not only an outlet for the adults in our community but are absolutely beneficial for getting the
youth involved and keeping them out of trouble. There are also many organizations that support these activities.
I know in Grants Pass we have a strong group of volunteers that are willing to put hands to this project as well.
You have my pledge to do so. I also fully support the group of men that have put this proposal forward. They
have their small town in mind when considering this project. Let's do this.

I recently saw the Mountain of the Rogue Trail scoping notice and wanted to let you know that I am excited about
the potential project.
As an avid trail runner I would love to see some developed trail options in our area. In addition to providing a
recreational opportunity, I think a project like the Mountain of the Rogue could be an economic benefit to the area
as I’m sure it would generate usage by the surrounding communities.

I, too, am so excited to hear about the potential for new trails in Rogue River and the surrounding area. My
family and I are avid cyclists and hikers and always looking for new trails to explore. I enjoy the few trails Rogue
River has to offer and would welcome more trails in the area and even volunteer to help. I have helped build
trails with the BLM at Cathedral Hills in Grants Pass. IMBA and the BLM partnered together a couple of years ago
and built some wonderful biking and hiking trails in Grants Pass and people from all over have come to enjoy
them.
