Chulun Miunkbat is a former student of the University of Waikato’s M.Soc.Sc (Public Policy) programme.
From 2005 till 2012 he was Deputy Prosecutor General of Mongolia. At the moment he is an Advisor to
South Gobi Resource LLC. The company is partly owned by Rio Tinto and is the largest coal exporter to
China. Mr. Munkhbat will be made New Zealand’s Honorary Consul in Ulan Bator on 23 October 2013.
