Denis Gibbs recently completed his Ph.D. at the University. His doctoral thesis was entitled “Mackinder meets Buzan: A
Geopolitical Extension to Security Theory with an emphasis on Polar Regions”. Come along and find out what the term
“affuenza” means! Denis was Treasurer of our branch from 2005 until 2010.
