Network Gauge Simulators
Roxar has developed two gauge simulators to allow the
Roxar Intelligent Downhole Network to be easily tested
during integration into, and production of, third party
control systems.
Roxar HS Gauge Simulator
The Roxar HS Gauge Simulator has been designed to
mimic Roxars’ premium Hybrid Silicon on Insulator (HS)
downhole gauge, to be used for third party testing of
the control system / Subsea electronic module containing
the Roxar Downhole Network Controller (DHNC).
The HS Gauge Simulator provides the following
functionality:
• Mimics the power requirements and modulation
strategy of an HS gauge
• Outputs determinable Pressure and Temperature data
• Inbuilt cable simulator 0-16 km
Roxar HM Gauge Simulator
The Roxar HM Gauge Simulator has been designed
to mimic Roxars’ legacy Hybrid Multichip Module (HM)
downhole gauge, to be used for third party testing of
the control system / Subsea electronic module containing
the Roxar Downhole Network Controller (DHNC) of
Downhole Interface (DHI-107).
The HM Gauge Simulator provides the following
functionality:
• Mimics the power requirements and modulation
strategy of an HM gauge
• Outputs determinable Pressure and Temperature data
• Inbuilt cable simulator 0 or 4 km
• Mimics Slow Send, Fast Send and Polled HM gauges
