Introduction
Introduction
The Cisco IMC Integration Pack is an add-on for Microsoft System Center 2012, 2012 SP1and 2012 R2
- Orchestrator (SCO) that enables you to automate Cisco UCS C-Series and E-Series server tasks. You
can use the Integration Pack to create workflows that interact with and transfer information to other
Microsoft System Center products such as Microsoft System Center 2012 - Operations Manager.
System Requirements
Before installing the Cisco IMC Integration Pack, ensure that the system meets or exceeds the following
minimum requirements:

You can find installation and upgrade information for Microsoft SCO on the Microsoft website.
Operating System Requirements
•
Windows Server 2008 R2 or later.
•
The latest service packs must be installed for all operating systems.
Software Requirements
•
Cisco UCS C-Series PowerTool (Version 1.0.1 or later)
•
Microsoft System Center 2012 or 2012 SP1 or 2012 R2 - Orchestrator
•
Windows PowerShell 2.0 or later
Supported C-Series and E-Series Versions
•
Supports Cisco UCS C-Series CIMC version 1.5(1) or later
•
Supports Cisco UCS E-Series version 2.2(1) or later

Known Limitations
New Activities
The first release of the integration pack supports the following activities that can be used to automate the
configuration, monitoring, and deployment of Cisco UCS C-Series and E-Series server resources in the
data center by creating new runbooks or integrating it with existing runbooks:

Sample Runbooks
To illustrate the usage of activities available as part of this integration pack, a set of sample runbooks is
available for download on the CDN website. Users can import these sample runbooks into their runbook
designer and use it to understand how the activities can be used to publish data, use data, and execute an
action on the Cisco UCS C-Series and E-Series servers.
Known Limitations
Cisco IMC Integration Pack, Release 1.0. has no known limitations.
