Field Accessory Kit
The Field Accessory Kit provides you with key accessories
that deliver even more productivity from your 475 Field
Communicators. The following accessories are included:

Shop Accessory Kit
The Shop Accessory Kit includes one complete Field Accessory
Kit plus the following items:
„„System Card (SD) Reader with USB Interface
„„Bluetooth Adapter or IrDA to USB Adapter*
„„Resource DVD
The System Card (SD) Reader can be used with the
Easy Upgrade Utility for major software and device driver
updates. A System Card Reader delivers a much faster update
solution, compared to the wireless interfaces.
The Bluetooth Adapter provides a convenient way to
perform routine updates without removing the system
card from the communicator.
Field Accessory Kit
The Resource DVD contains the Easy Upgrade Utility,
User Manual, and other important 475 documentation.
The Protective Rubber Boot provides extra protection for your
communicator when you take it to the field, minimizing the
scratches and bumps that occur with field use. The protective
rubber boot also includes a stand to facilitate using your
communicator on the bench.
The Ruggedized 250 Ohm Load Resistor allows you to
introduce the necessary load resistance when connecting a
475 Field Communicator and power supply to a HART device.
It conveniently plugs into the HART terminals between the
communicator and the lead set.
The Magnetic Hanger connects to the back of the 475 Field
Communicator, allowing it to be hung from metallic structures
in the field, like pipes, tanks, etc., to free up your hands for
other tasks.
The Stylus Set provides two spare styli in case your original
stylus is lost or misplaced.
It is recommended that you have one Field Accessory Kit for
each 475 Field Communicator in your plant.
Shop Accessory Kit
It is recommended that you have one Shop Accessory Kit
for each location that will be involved in updating your
475 Field Communicators.
*Shop Accessory Kit (00475-0019-SK01) contains the Bluetooth Adapter and is
available in countries where the 475 Field Communicator has Bluetooth spectrum
approval. For countries without Bluetooth approval, a separate Shop Accessory Kit
(00475-0019-SK02) is available and contains the IrDA to USB Adapter instead of
the Bluetooth Adapter.
