I investigate writing environments and technoglogies, the role of affect and ritual in writing processes, neuroscientific conceptions of reading and writing, theories of embodiment and distributed cognition, as well as voice-to-text technologies. I’m currently working on a book project that that observes and theorizes the material embodied nature of composing processes in the 21st century.
