Rosemount® CMS - PRU 53
Portable Readout Unit
The portable readout unit, PRU 53 within the
system Rosemount CMS enables instant readings
of the current tank information, such as level,
temperature and pressure on a small hand held
unit.

Description
The Portable Readout Unit is built on state of the art messaging
system by Ascom. The system consists of an Interface Unit that
is installed in the control room or bridge and connected to the
cargo monitoring system through an Ethernet link. The Hand
Held Readout Units fetches the information over a radio link.
To get a good reception an external antenna is mounted on the
vessel, where it has good coverage over the deck.
Accessories
The system is delivered with battery chargers and leather cases
for the hand held units.
It is possible to extend the system with additional hand held
units.
The readout unit is a small and simple receiver that lets the user
choose the tank to be monitored.
