Marine Product Life Cycle Information EPM-11, SFC-21 and CU-21 - End of life status 2016 The Level Gauging Systems “EPM-11”, “SFC-21” and “CU-21” were produced from 1987 to 1999 by the former Finnish company SF Control. The design is based on a technology from the middle of the 1980-ies and it is today difficult to produce, repair and make service on included parts. Many spare parts are still available but the number of parts and components is rapidly decreasing. Therefore we will continue to support the electro pneumatic measurement systems EPM-11, SFC-21 and CU-21 until the end of 2016. However, already from January 2015 the possibility for support will gradually decrease. Do you plan to operate your ship for many years? We will gladly offer you our present LevelDatic, see description on the web. If the pneumatic piping can be reused it is easy and very cost effecient to replace the old system with LevelDatic 80S. Is the remaining operation time for the vessel short? We recommend you to do a system overhaul and we can assist you defining a set of useful spare parts that will increase the possibilities for a good function until the ship will be taken out of operation.
