New PlantWeb Capability for SeniorSonicTM and JuniorSonicTM Gas Ultrasonic Flow Meters The power of PlantWeb® continues to expand beyond the plant. The new HART functionality of the Daniel SeniorSonic and JuniorSonic Gas Ultrasonic Meter extends PlantWeb to the gas fiscal custody transfer market. PlantWeb’s online monitoring, diagnostics, and notification of potential problems lets you detect and correct conditions that can lead to equipment failure or process upset - before they result in the loss of unaccounted hydrocarbons. The meter has complete HART communications. It can output digital information via the HART protocol. Pressure and temperature can be taken as analog inputs and gas chromatograph information can be obtained through a serial connection to calculate the AGA 10 speed of sound for use as a diagnostic tool. Pressure and temperature are also used to make expansion corrections to the meter body for accurate measurement. Daniel Gas Ultrasonic Meters power PlantWeb by communicating health and process variable information via the HART protocol TECHNOLOGY ENABLES SMART REMOTE AUTOMATION REMOTE AUTOMATION COMPONENTS FROM THE PLANT TO THE FIELD The Daniel SeniorSonic and JuniorSonic Gas Ultrasonic Meters are smart devices that can communicate directly with a host system or flow computer via HART. It is capable of communicating health information as well as vital process and measurement information. AMS Device Manager provides configuration for the advanced diagnostics used with HART instrumentation. It also houses all remote asset data including tag numbers, names, locations, calibration status, configurations, diagnostics, and documentation. ► Improve operational excellence. Leverage meter diagnostics through the PlantWeb architecture to improve your custody transfer operations. ► Improve uptime. Advanced monitoring and alarming capability allows you to address maintenance alarms before they lead to failure. ► Use Staff more effectively. Smart meter diagnostics and the remote configuration abilities equip your team with the knowledge they need to quickly troubleshoot meter problems.
