PROGRAMMING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS
The Honors Council programming and public relations committees work
closely together with the executive board to plan events for the Honors
College and to promote those events through social media. The
programming committee plans the Honors Council events for the semester.
The public relations committee creates the advertisements and flyers for
these events.

NEWSLETTER
The Honors Herald is a student run newsletter that is published twice a semester. The Honors Council supplies
contributors who write, draw, report, and take photos for the publication. The Council’s newsletter committee
co-chairs serve as associate editors for the newsletter and ensure, with the Editor-in-Chief, that the newsletter
is filled with interesting material.
WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN
The Honors Council is looking for you, the new batch of Honors freshmen, to join us. By joining the Honors
Council, you can join with the best of the best that Honors has to offer. We are the student leaders of Honors.
We are looking for some of you to join us as committee members or maybe even as committee co-chairs!
