Manual Uninstall of Oracle Client Version 9.2
You do not have to uninstall older versions of Oracle. If the versions aren't needed for
other purposes and you want to clean them off the machine, here are some basic instructions. If you have
a different version of Oracle installed, or if it was initially setup differently, the images and steps might
vary slightly from these instructions, but the general process should be similar.
Backup the TNSNames.ora file before uninstalling Oracle. It is usually found in a directory like
c:\oracle\ora92\network\admin.
Log on to the computer as a member of the Administrators group.
To uninstall Oracle you need to run the Oracle Universal Installer: Windows Start Menu > All Programs >
Oracle Installation Products > Universal Installer.
Click "Deinstall Products...".

Click the + next to "OraHome92", and then click in the empty box next to "Oracle9i Client 9.2.0.1.0", and
then click "Remove...".
Click "Yes".

Wait until it is done removing the software.
Click "Close".
