In 2012, Germany produced 25% of its electricity from renewable energy sources and its current goal is to produce 35% of the country’s renewable electricity by 2020. Why has Germany embraced these impressive targets regarding renewable energy? Are these attainable goals? Would they be realistic in another country? Why or why not? Where did this culture of sustainability originate? These are just a few of the questions that will be explored in this course. Spring 2015 Taught in English!
