With just over one week to go until closing of the survey, a call is being made to all BIA members across Australia to take a few minutes to complete the survey, by visiting: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/BIAA2014 BIAA General Manager, Nik Parker said “all successful business operators know access to accurate and up to date data is essential for effective business planning. Similarly, the BIAA needs data to enhance the profile of the industry with governments, attract investment in our industry and promote the benefits of the boating lifestyle to all Australians”. As one of a suite of data collection projects underway, the State of Industry Survey 2014 will provide the BIAA and industry members with an up to date assessment of the performance of the boating industry, drawing on matching data collected over the last three years. Commenting on the expected publication of the survey findings in early 2015, Parker said “with quality industry and consumer data we will be well placed to promote and protect the sector in an increasingly competitive and regulated market place. I’d encourage all members to take part, today”. The Boating Industries Alliance Australia is the national trade association the recreational and light commercial boating industry in Australia. BIAA provides a national voice for the alliance of state Boating Industry Associations, including Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Northern Territory and Marine Queensland, working on their behalf as members to advance, promote and protect the boating industry.
