Introduction to Statistics I

Prerequisite: Placement test (ACT >= 21, SAT >= 500 or Compass 1-ALG >= 85
or Compass 2-CAG >= 0 or Compass 4-TRG >= 0)
Course Description: Descriptive statistics, tabular and graphical data displays;
probability, probability distributions. Introduction to statistical inference (hypothesis
testing, estimation); one-sample parametric and nonparametric methods. Computer
applications.
