A Session “UberGrad”
(Conducted Under Co-Curricular Activity)
Mr. Satya Kalyan and Mr. Chandra,
experts from SMSCountry have introduced their
new initiative UberGrad on Aug 16th, 2012 for
the 4/4 CSE, IT students.
The session was scheduled to enlighten
the students with the current employment
scenario in the country and how could their
initiatives be useful for the students in gaining
new opportunities and also to get recruited
early in their engineering career.
Mr Chandra has started off with his
acquaintances during his engineering career
with Mr. Satya (Alumnus of the 1991 Batch) and
the narration of the success stories of few
renewed Indian who has created waves in the
world through their remarkable work like
development and management of Google News
,Google File System etc… by single Indian, Mr
Krishna .
“Indian Have The Most Beautiful Minds”,
quote mentioned by him to the students &
making them feel the same. Ubergrad is a social
platform which allows the students to upload
their resume in a most attractive way, in turn
giving the opportunity to companies to select
the deserving students for internship or full time
employment in their companies. He also gave a
walk through on students can be shortlisted
with this innovative means.
The session concluded with the students
questions answered by the resource personnel,
and also rewarded the students who were most
interactive and innovative in their queries.
