on occasion of Engineers Day Celebrations on Sept 15th,2012
An Engineer’s day was celebrated
full flushed in college by remembering
great engineers in almost all domains &
by appreciating their contribution to the
society for their valuable work. As a part
of Engineer’s Day celebrations many
events were conducted and students with
remarkable performances were awarded
with attractive prizes.
First Round was conducted to filter
the teams for debate round. The teams
were filtered by conducting a written quiz
for all the enrolled teams. After fair
evaluation about 16 teams were through
for next round.
Department of Computer Science
& Engineering has organized an inter
departmental
Technical
Debate
competition under CSI Student chapter on
Sept 15th,2012.
Second Round was a debate round
and 16 teams were made to compete by
forming 8 sets. Each set were asked to
debate either for and against for the topic
of discussion.
The Technical Debate Competition
was an open opportunity for all BE 2/4 &
3/4
students of all branches. The
competition
has
witness
an
overwhelming students participants with
minimum of 3 teams has participated
from each departments. A total of 3
rounds were conducted to identify two
best teams.
Each set were given 5 minutes to
put their points before their opponent

team and one minute was given to convey
the final word of conclusion about the
topic of discussion. A total of four teams
were shortlisted for final debate round.
Third round was a final debate
Round conducted for four shortlisted
teams. Final winners were acknowledged
to be a team from 3/4 students of
mechanical branch and runner up team
from 3/4 students of Computer science
department.
