A Report on ACES session on “Google Speaks” on Sept 28th 2012

An events under “Google
Speaks’ was conducted by Akashdeep
Singh Jaswal, of 3/4 CSE, Google
Student Ambassador , on Sept
28th,2012 for the target audience of
2/4 CSE A & B in seminar hall,
Ramanujan Block, VCE under ACES
activities.
The event Google speaks was
organized in two sessions. In first
session a written quiz on Google and
Google products was conducted in
order to test awareness of students
regarding what Google was in past ,in
present and what it will be future.
In second session a seminar on
“Getting the next billion online” was
delivered by Akashdeep Singh Jaswal.
The seminar has given an insights on
the current internet market globally
and India’s major contribution to it as
an emerging market. A video was
played during the seminar showcasing
how Google has helped an ordinary
person to become an entrepreneur by
getting himself to be identified on
worldwide through Google.
The session was interactive and
informative for the student as they
were able to get the answers to quiz
questions during seminar.
Speaker has concluded by
asking the students to keep them self
up breast with the latest Google
products by using them in almost
every activity they would do in day to
day activity.
