A Report on “Career Guidance and a Pre Placement talk” delivered by
Raj Kumar Goel and Srinivas Sareen on Feb 26th,2013
An informative session on Career
Guidance and pre placement talk were
delivered by Raj Kumar Goel and Srinivas
Sareen ,Alumnus of 2010 pass out for the
students of BE 3/4 CSE on Feb 26th, 2013. This
particular session was a follow up session
delivered by Raj Kumar Goel conducted on Jan
30th, 2013 for students of 2/4 CSE.
time for Infosys he moved on to PEGA system
which is a dream company for many aspirants.
Speakers have advised student to start
practising the quantitative aptitude skills,
basics of programming languages and
communication skills.
Srinivas Sareen started off session by
introducing himself to the student audiences,
shared his thought during his pursuit of
engineering studies. Speaker Mr Srinivas
Sareen was not so inclined towards getting
good percentage and realized the importance
of excelling at studies, co curricular and
extracurricular
activities
before
the
commencement of placements at college
campus.
He justified his statement by quote that
“It’s never too late”.
He worked hard for placements and
was successful enough to get through Infosys
placement process. After working for some
They alerted students to act on what
career option to continue with after
Engineering Curriculum, have also narrated
what courses are available in market, what
subjects to prepare for placements.
Speakers had to face few general
question of student audiences like importance
of extra and co curricular during placements.
To which speakers gave a justifying
reply that if company come across a state with
two students with similar potentials then
these extra-curricular activities would help in
taking good decision.
As per students comments session has
helped in clarifying few simple and crucial
questions with regard to an option of working
for some time or opt for further studies and
could the opportunity to note few inputs to
prepare an effective resume.
