A Report on Guest Lecture Delivered by Mr. Mohammad Sakhavullah on “Cloud
Computing and its Architecture” Conducted on Mar 13th, 2013
A Guest Lecture on “Cloud Computing
and its Architecture” was delivered by Mr.
Mohammad Sakhavullah, Senior Analyst at HP,
Hyderabad. The session on cloud computing was
organized on Mar 13th, 2013 by CSI faculty
coordinator and student members for the target
student audiences of 3/4 CSE under computer
society of India (CSI) at Vasavi College of
Engineering.
Student audiences felt the session to be
very informative as they got the opportunity to
know the nuts and bolts of the Cloud computing.
As per the speaker response the session was an
interactive session with loads of enthusiasm
among the student audience who came up with
several doubts and queries.
The main objectives of the lecture were to
acquaint the students audiences with the Cloud
Computing and components of cloud computing.
The speaker Mr. Mohammad Sakhavullah
has started the session by delivering small
introduction to cloud computing and how the
various services which can be rendered in form
of Cloud Services.
In later part of the session speaker has discussed
the Layered Architecture behind Cloud
Computing and gave a special emphasis on the
elements required for setting the working unit of
the cloud.
The lecture concluded with a brief note by
speaker to take final year project on cloud
computing as this platform has a rich set of
applications.
