A Report on Workshop on” MTA Certification 98-363” conducted on July 17th, 2013

A Workshop on “MTA Certification
98-363 ” was organized by the Department
of Computer Science & Engineering, in
association with Microsoft, Edu-Kinect,
India for the students of B.E 3/4 CSE on
July 17th, 2013 at Seminar Hall ,Ramanujan
Block, VCE.

, R&D , Microsoft , Edu-Kinect . has taken up
sessions during workshop
The objective of the workshop was
to train the students for the MTA
Certification.
The session started off with the
revision of previous concepts. Detailed
information about the Tile Notification and
XML concepts of App Development were
discussed. The major Emphasis was given
to the designing part rather than the coding
part.
The session continued with the
various aspects of the certification- need,
importance and its value in today’s
corporate world. The speaker have also
discussed the configurations, web based
tasks, design strategies, state management,
various
data
sources,
database
connections, AJAX and application pools
during the workshop.
Microsoft
Dreamspark
and
Windows
Store
Registration
were
conveyed in detail. The speaker has shared
The documents pertaining to Microsoft
Dreamspark
and
windows
store
registration with students.
The students will be taking up the
MTA Certification (98-363) at college
campus. This certificate is to test the
student’s Web Development Skills.
Various issues of the students were
attended personally by Mr. Naga Kumar.
The session ended with a brief
revision of the concepts required for MTA
Certification 98-363. Also some additional
materials in support to MTA Certification
98-363 were provided to the students.
As per the feedback of students the
workshop was truly informative in
addition to being very useful and was very
encouraging to kit start career in web
development.
