Textbook
J. M. G. Cowie, "Polymers: Chemistry and Physics of Modern Materials," Chapman and Hall.
(This is not a required text and it is a good general reference).
Laboratory
Four experiments to understand the concepts covered in the class. SAFETY GOGGLES ARE
REQUIRED FOR LABORATORY. Sandals, contact lenses and food are not permitted in the
laboratory, long pants are strongly encouraged. Attendance is required for laboratory. A final
grade in the course will not be given until all laboratory reports have been handed in and all
exams taken. Any missed exams must be made-up.
