PMDP Process Flowchart

Email invitation to complete
PMDP is sent to employees.
Access PMDP through the
Pace Portal.
Employee submits self-review
to Supervisor.
Employee completes selfreview of goals and Individual
Development Plan progress.
Supervisor completes his/her
review of employee, and rates
employee’s overall
performance.
Supervisor submits employee review to
Approver. (If Supervisor and Approver are
the same, Supervisor schedules feedback
discussion with employee.)
If feedback
discussion
occurred
previously
Approver approves employee
PMDP.
Approver makes comments
and returns to Supervisor to
make revisions.
If feedback
discussion has
not yet occured
Supervisor schedules
feedback discussion with
employee.
Supervisor and Employee
have performance feedback
discussion.
Employee adds comments,
agrees or disagrees with
evaluation and rating, and
electronically signs.
Evaluation is submitted to Human
Resources. If employee disagrees,
Employee Relations Department is
notified.
Employee returns review to
supervisor to make changes
resulting from feedback
discussion.
