Pace’s new “Fast Paced Leadership
Development Program” was launched in
April with a class of eighteen. The program,
the first of its kind for Pace, is a two year
commitment for participants, which also
includes an individual 360⁰ leadership
assessment, a structured series of training
programs, and participation on a process
change project team.
How do I get in? Participation in the Fast
Paced Leadership Development Program
requires management nomination. The next
class of Fast Paced participants will be
nominated by their management in 2012.
New Management Training
We are excited to announce a new
training program for managers. This
required course provides the manager
with the necessary references for and
knowledge of the University policies and
procedures,
as
well
as
an
understanding of his/her role as a
manager at Pace University. Managing
Successfully at Pace University will be
launched in Fall 2011. Look for it on the
Organizational
Learning
and
Development training calendar.

REMINDER: Leadership
Forum 2011 We Provide
Dedicated
Training
AND
Consultant
Services!
Pace University’s annual Leadership
Forum was held on June 3,
2011. Marty Linsky, co-founder of
Cambridge Leadership Associates and
teacher at Harvard University’s Kennedy
School, presented this year’s topic,
“Adaptive Leadership: Tools and
Tactics
for
Changing
Our
Organization.”
Need training but don’t see the topic on the
calendar?
Does your department want customized training?
Planning a staff retreat?
Need help creating your IDP?
Participants had the opportunity to listen
to Marty’s thoughts on how leadership
and organizations develop the ability to
strategically adapt to changing
environments.
Following
the
presentation, the audience broke into
smaller functional break out groups to
discuss the application of these theories
at Pace.
The Organizational Learning and
Development staff is available to provide
dedicated training and consultation for
your department. We will also provide
one-on-one instruction and offer
customized training and consultation,
such as customer service training; team
building activities; interpersonal skills
development; departmental staff retreats;
and individualized technology training.
We are also available to help you create
an IDP that is right for you.
