Welcome to HR News and Highlights, Pace University's Human Resources electronic
newsletter. The goal of our quarterly newsletter is to provide staff and faculty news and information about Human
Resources’ people, programs and events. Recent and archived issues are available on the Human Resources website at:
www.pace.edu/hrnews. This issue, the focus is on the: HR’s 2011 Year in Review
We’re striving to make the workplace a better place for YOU… Enhanced HR Services New Hire Follow Up Employee Relations follows up with all full-time new
employees within 30 and 60 days from their hire date.
About 100 employees across all campuses have been
interviewed regarding their onboarding experience.
Feedback and recommendations are then provided to
supervisors, if appropriate. Director Level
Onboarding HR added a director-level
program to its suite of
onboarding programs. This
program builds on the core
onboarding protocol for new hires by incorporating
additional factors that will be especially helpful to a new
director at Pace University. As with all of the onboarding
programs, the director-level program will assist the new
hire in becoming familiar with the culture and community
at Pace University. For more information, please visit the
