Desk request for many of your Benefits-related
needs.
This service-focused initiative provides 24/7 access
to 100+ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
regarding the Benefit programs at Pace University.
It gives you the ability to track your requests and
receive periodic updates. In addition, the department
has been able to monitor response times and make
service improvements.
Your Benefits-related inquiries and requests are
handled during our regular office hours, Monday
through Friday, from 9am-5pm.

Program
Summer Flex Days are Here Again!
In recognition of your contributions, the
University will again offer flexible summer
hours this year. This summer each full-time
staff member will have the opportunity to take
every other Friday off, for three Fridays, or the
equivalent of three days (2.5 days for those
working an 80% schedule) between July 2

This innovative incentive program is designed to
encourage you, and your spouse or domestic
partner if applicable, to have annual preventative
care examinations.

Each participating employee who is covered by
CIGNA is eligible to receive up to $240 if he/she
(plus his/her spouse or domestic partner, if
covered by the CIGNA medical plan) has one, two
or three preventative care examinations (based
upon age) during the plan year (July 1, 2011
through June 30, 2012). Please click here to

Although the exams must be completed by June
30, 2012, the Preventative Care Incentive
Program Payment Form, which must be
completed/signed by the health care provider, and
corresponding CIGNA EOB (Explanation of
Benefits), must be submitted to the University
Benefits office by August 31, 2012. A one-time
incentive reward payment, to a maximum of $240,
will be made via paycheck by September 30,
2012.
Vacation Time
Pace’s vacation accrual year is July 1 – June 30. Click here to view the

Personal Time
Up to 3 personal days a calendar year. The accrual schedule is: April 1st;
July 1st and October 1st. Click here to view more information about

University Holidays
Up to 15 paid holidays! Click here to view the 2012 University Holiday
Calendar.
Please note: There is no carryover of any paid time-off (vacation,
personal, floating holidays, summer flex days).
Full-time staff employees must be actively at work in order to take
advantage of summer flex days.
