21 different professional and management training programs
were delivered in 49 separate sessions for 739 participants
11 instructor-led technology training programs were
delivered in 65 separate sessions for 352 staff members

We welcomed 145
full time staff new
hires!
4 e-learning modules were made available for individual, selfpaced learning, with 168 staff members participating
Benefits
As part of our ongoing “Wellness” campaign, the first year of
the Preventive Care Program resulted in a 5% increase in
employee well visits and exams to 65% while the national
average decreased 5% to 42%. Pace continues its
commitment to wellness. Watch for the arrival (pun
intended!) of the “Pace University Healthy Babies” campaign
this spring!

TIAA-CREF held a

counseling sessions
for faculty and staff in
2012.

payments for 5,684
employees including
full-time faculty and

HR’s Comings and Goings….
Welcome to the Office of the Vice President, Human Resources, Meghan O’Mara! Meghan joined Pace
University and the HR staff as the Administrative Assistant to the VP of HR in January 2013, filling
Courtney Barnas’ vacancy.
We are also rolling out the welcome mat to Ronald Musselwhite, our new Assistant Director, Labor and
Employee Relations, who replaced Robb Solenday in February 2013.
We are happy to welcome a new member to the Pace “family!!” Ms. Anu George, Programmer Analyst,
welcomed a baby boy in December 2012. Anu will be on leave for the next several months.
