• This innovative incentive program iis designed to
o encourage yyou, and yourr spouse or domestic partner if applicable, to have an
nnual preventtative care exxaminations.
• Each partticipating emp
ployee who iss covered by CIGNA is eligiible to receivve up to $240 if he/she (plu
us his/her spouse o
or domestic partner, if covered by the C
CIGNA medicaal plan) has one, two or th
hree preventaative care examinations (based upon age) du
uring the plan year (July 1, 2013 through June 30, 20

Although the exams must be completed by June 30, 2014, the completed Preventive Care 2013‐2014 Form, along with the corresponding Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) must be submitted to the University Benefits office via email at [email protected] on or before August 31, 2014. A one‐time incentive reward payment, to a maximum of $240, will be made via paycheck by September 30, 2014. Wellness Wednesdays
Healthy Babies Program
HR began partnering with Chartwells in promoting HR’s wellness initiative in September 2013. Wellness Wednesdays features healthy eating for staff, students, and faculty in a variety of ways on each campus every Wednesday throughout the academic year. Discounts are offered to participants. Purchase 10 designated “healthy meals” on Wellness Wednesdays, and get the 11th for free!! If you want to learn more about your caloric intake please click here! The library is your source for accurate information you can
trust to help you stay fit and enhance your quality of life. CIGNA’s Healthy Babies campaign rewards participants with $150 when they enroll in their first trimester and $75 when they enroll in their second trimester. It is a great resource for expectant mothers! As a bonus, when you sign up, you’ll get these congratulatory gifts (t‐shirt and onesie, each size 6M) from HR! Time Off Benefit At Pace
Summer Flex Hours are Here Again!
In recognition of your contributions, the University will
again offer summer flex hours this year. This summer,
each full-time staff member (hired on or before May 1,
2014) will have the opportunity to take every other
Friday off, for three Fridays, or the equivalent of three
days (2.5 days for those working an 80% schedule)
beginning July 1 and continuing through August
8. Full-time staff employees must be actively at work in
order to take advantage of summer flex days.
Vacation Time
Pace’s vacation accrual year is July 1 – June 30. Click here to view the vacation policy.
Personal Time
Up to 3 personal days a calendar year are granted. The accrual schedule is: April 1st; July 1st and

University Holidays

Inquiry in Higher Education: Transforming our
