For further information call 0800 WAIKATO or email [email protected] Bachelor of Business Analysis – Financial • STAT160 Management Statistics: Mathematics - a minimum C pass at AS level or a D pass at A level • MATH166 Management Mathematics: Mathematics - a minimum C pass at AS level or a D pass at A level • Students planning a major in Accounting require a minimum C pass at AS or A level or ACCT102 Introductory Financial Accounting will be required as an elective in the first year. Bachelor of Computing & Mathematical Sciences Both MATH101 and MATH102 are required for a Mathematics major and MATH102 is required for a Computer Science major. Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Science (Technology) The following subjects are required for students doing a BE(Hons): • Calculus, Physics and Chemistry are required for Chemical and Biological Engineering and for Materials and Process Engineering • Calculus and Physics are required for Electronic Engineering and for Mechanical Engineering • Calculus is required for Software Engineering plus at least 14 credits in two other approved subjects • CHEM111 Structure and Spectroscopy: Chemistry – minimum C pass at AS or A level • Students planning a major in Accounting require a minimum C pass at AS or A level or ACCT102 Introductory Financial Accounting will be required as an elective in the first year.
