Special recognition to Dr. Capers as the
100th Cameos of Caring award recipient.
She is an outstanding woman, nurse
and colleague, and was recognized at
this year’s Cameos of Caring ® Gala.
A visionary leader, Dr. Capers brought
Cameos of Caring to the Akron region
in 2002. Modeled after a similar Gala
originated at the University of Pittsburgh,
Cameos of Caring has become one of the
regions strongest collaborative programs
designed to collectively advance
professional nursing practice.
