Master’s Proposal Defense Timeline

Procedure
The deadline for completing the master’s proposal defense is April 1 of the first year. Students must
schedule the committee meeting and distribute the proposal document to the members of their
committee at least two weeks in advance of the committee meeting.
Students must obtain the signatures of their advisor, committee members, and the Chair of the ADA
Program at their university to confirm their timeline prior to their committee meeting. This completed
form is due to the Program Chair on or before March 15 and at least two weeks prior to the scheduled
defense meeting.
