Nursing Career
As a student in our renowned Nursing (RN4)
program, offered only on the Westchester Campus,
you start your nursing classes as a freshman and
clinicals as a sophomore—one year earlier than at
most schools.
Admission to the nursing program guarantees you a
spot in sophomore clinicals as long as you maintain
the required GPA in your first year. You will not have
to apply again to be admitted to the nursing major.
Pace places more than 500 undergraduate and
graduate nursing students in clinical placements in
both U.S. and international health care settings.
Our graduates consistently exceed the New York
State and national pass rates on the NCLEX-RN
exam.
Career Treating Speech and
Language Disorders
In the BA in Communication Sciences and
Disorders (CSD) program, offered only on the NYC
Campus, what you learn in class about treating
speech and language disorders prepares you for
graduate school and to assist adults and children.
Clinical opportunities on-campus at The Emil
Froeschels Speech and Hearing Center, complete
with a hearing testing suite; therapy rooms; and
computers for speech sound acoustic analysis,
therapy, and research.
Students observe and participate in the therapeutic
process at area hospitals, schools, and day care
centers.
Health Care Industry Career
The new BS in Health Science prepares students
for job opportunities in hospitals, private medical
offices, government and community agencies, and
global health organizations.
Your choice of career paths include health policy
and advocacy, quality improvement and patient
safety, global health, and the emerging telehealth
industry. The degree also prepares you to apply for
a program in nursing or physician assistant studies.
