With reference to the subject mentioned above, I am directed to inform you that the university
authorities have accepted and granted approval to the revised structure, syllabi, nature of question paper and
equivalence of various courses/programmes under the Faculty of Science as mentioned below.

The revised syllabi will be implemented from the academic year 2011-2012 ( i.e. from June 2011)
onwards. A soft copy i.e. CD containing revised structure, syllabi, nature of question paper and equivalence is
enclosed herewith. All these syllabi are also available on university website www.unishivaji.ac.in.
Further, it is hereby informed that the question papers on the pre-revised syllabi of above papers/
subjects will be set for examinations to be held in October/November 2011, March/April- 2012,
October/November 2012 and March/April- 2013. These chances are available for repeater students if any.
There shall be the annual system of examation in respect of practical examinations for B.Sc., B.C.S. &
B.F.T.M. as per this office letter No. SU/BOS/Semester Rules/5354 dt. 28-07-2010.
(NOTE-:Nature of Question Paper for B.A. Geography & IDS and Home Science will be as per the
nature of question paper for B.A.II under the Faculty of Social Sciences)
