(1) Young Scientist Awardee (1983):
The Indian Science Congress Association at its session on January 1983 announced Young
Scientist Awards for the best exposition of original research work in Science. This is awarded to scholars
below the age of 30, in recognition of the best exposition of their research and their originality. In the faculty
of science the award has been conferred on me in the subject Mathematics.
