2015/2016 Faculty Research Committee Fellowship Guidelines
The Faculty Research Committee of the Faculty Senate, which is composed of representatives from the
various colleges, evaluates proposals submitted by the faculty and determines which of these will be
funded. Proposals from all disciplines are welcome. This year the Faculty Research Committee (FRC)
will have one Summer Fellowship competition.
The 2015-2016 deadline for receipt of faculty summer fellowships is:

All full-time faculty are encouraged to apply. A tenured faculty member who has received funding
from this committee during the past two academic years (September through August) will not be
considered for funding this academic year. An untenured faculty member is eligible to receive one, and
no more than one, award per academic year, and if awarded summer fellowships in two consecutive
years is ineligible to receive a summer fellowship in the third year. Awards generally are made within
six weeks after the proposal submission deadlines.
