From 1993 through 2001, Dr. Soucek was a Professor at North Dakota State University in the Department of Polymers & Coatings focusing his research on Coatings Science and corrosion resistant coatings. From 2001, Dr. Soucek has been a Professor at the University of Akron in the Department of Polymer Engineering. He presently has >140 research papers published all in coating science. In In 2009 Dr. Soucek served as President of the Cleveland Coating Society.
