This document will provide the steps associated with converting a Microsoft Word
document to an HTML format that can be used with Springboard on a Windows PC.
How to Convert a Word Document to HTML (Windows)
1. Open the Word document you wish to convert.
2. Select the Office Button.
3. Select Word Options.

4. Select Advanced.
5. Scroll to the bottom of the page.
6. Select Web Options.
7. Select the Encoding tab.
8. If Always save Web pages in the default encoding is enabled, disable it.
9. From the Save this document as dropdown menu, select Unicode (UTF-8).
10. Select OK to confirm Web Options.

11. Select OK to confirm Word Options.
12. Select the Office Button.
13. Select Save As.

14. Select Web Page, Filtered (*.htm, *.html) from the Save as type dropdown menu.
