Adding the Turning Technologies integration to your Springboard Course
The Turning Technologies D2L integration allows your students to sign-up for a Turning account and
register their device to your course. As an instructor, you can similarly use the integration to sign-up for
your own Turning account.
You will need to make a copy of your course’s Springboard homepage before adding the integration (if
you use the Course Default).
1. Log into Springboard and enter your course.
2. Select the manage homepage tool (it looks like two gears) at the bottom right of the screen.
3. Select the downward arrow to the right of Course Default.
4. Select “Copy.”
5. You will now have a copy of the course’s default homepage.
6. Select “Course Default - Copy” and select the “Apply” button.
7. Return to the course home.
8. Select the edit tool (it looks like a pencil) at the bottom right of the screen.
9. Select “Add Widgets” in the section where you want the
Turning Technologies integration to appear.
10. Select the “Turning Registration” widget.
11. Select “Add.”
12. Return to the course homepage and you should see
the Turning Registration widget.
13. If you do not already have a Turning Technologies account,
you will need to sign-up for one.
14. Select the Turning Regestration widget.
15. Sign-up for a Turning account. (This account is separate from
a UAnet account.) Enter your email address and select “Create.”
It is recommended that you use your UA email address.
16. A confirmation email will be sent to your email address.
Check your email and select the link within the email.
17. Select “I am a participant,” and then the next button.
18. Complete the form by filling out your user
information. Select the checkbox to agree to
the terms. Select the next button.
19. Enter a password and confirm the password.
Select the next button.
20. The account registration process is complete.
