Outlook 2010: Delegate Inbox & Calendar
DELEGATING YOUR INBOX
1.
Click the File tab > Account Settings > Delegate Access.

Click Add.

Search for and select the individual you wish to designate as your delegate.
When finished, click OK.

In the Delegate Permissions dialog box, in the Inbox field, select the
rights the delegate will have:
•
Reviewer (can read items)
•
Author (can read and create items)
•
Editor (can read, create and modify items)

If you want a confirmation email sent to the delegate, select the checkbox to
Automatically send a message to delegate summarizing these
permissions. This is recommended.

If you want to allow the delegate to view your private items, select
the checkbox Delegate can see my private items.

Click OK. The name of the delegate should appear.

OPEN THE MAIL FOLDER AS A DELEGATE
1. Click the File tab > Open.

Calendars group) and select Open Shared Calendar.

After you access a shared calendar for the first time,

time you want to view the shared calendar, click it in
