Eliminating Mixed Content Message - IE7 The University of Akron Eliminating the Secure/Nonsecure Warning Messages in Internet Explorer 7 This document provides instructions on modifying an option in Internet Explorer in order to eliminate the mixed content warning messages. Below is a sample of the mixed content warning message. There is also an online tutorial which accompanies this document. After you open Internet Explorer, click the arrow to the right of the button. 2. Select Internet Options from the list of choices. Select the Enable radio button under the “Display mixed content” setting. Click the OK button to save this setting. 6. You will be prompted to make sure you wish to accept this change.
