The addendum is hereby made part of the Bid Document to the same extent as though it were originally
included therein. Refer to “Invitation to Bid Price Agreement” form for acknowledgement of addendum.
All Bidders are reminded that they shall be familiar with all addendum items (as well as all parts of the
bidding document) so as to understand the extent of their work and its interrelation with other trades.
To all Bidders for the following contract:
Bid Questions and Answers:
1. The quantity on page 13 specifies 11,500 copies per issue with an additional 1,000
for the May/June issue. Page 16 specifies a quantity of 19,500 on the price schedule. Which quantity should the quote be based on? ANSWER: Please quote the quantity 11,500 copies per issue on the Price Schedule form
(revised and attached to this addendum).
2. Page 12, Scope of Work: Will you provide a sample of the piece you would like to
produce, electronically and hard copy?
ANSWER: Yes. A hard copy of a sample can be mailed to the potential Bidder. Please
send the request by email to [email protected].

3. Can you describe your current Print process for this project?
ANSWER: The current print process is specified in the Scope of Work of this ITB.
4. What do you like about your current process? What do you dislike?
ANSWER: San Juan College is satisfied with the current process, as no changes have
been made and are specified in the Scope of Work of this ITB.
5. What is your satisfaction level with your current Print Vendor? Can you give me an
example of positive or negative solutions?
ANSWER: San Juan College is satisfied with the current Vendor, however due to 13-1150 NSMA 1978, the term of an agreement cannot exceed four years. The current
Vendor’s agreement expires 06/30/2016.
6. What is San Juan College’s objective in sending this project to Print RFP?
ANSWER: San Juan College would like to establish a bid price agreement with a qualified
firm for its printing services of the Communicator Periodical through a competitive sealed
bid process; to obtain competitive pricing and award to the lowest Bidder per the bid
specifications.
7. Does San Juan College have any Full/Part Time employees allocated to this project
regularly?
ANSWER: San Juan College has two full-time regular employees allocated to this project.
8. Can you tell me about San Juan College’s ability to send/receive data
transmissions?
ANSWER: San Juan College is able to send and receive data electronically via email.

with a simple fold along the long dimension resulting in four
spreads (8 pages) (10.5”x16” each). Full Bleed of .25” on all
sides. The finished folded size is 10.5” x 8”. Please note: Folded
width can be no wider than 11” after trimming to
accommodate insertion in the Daily Times. Color: 8 pages – 4
