What is Binder?
How Can You Get Help?
Binder is an iPad app offered by Desire2Learn (D2L)
that provides students the ability to save content for offline viewing. Binder also allows students to annotate,
highlight, underline and markup saved content.
Technical support is provided by Desire2Learn
through the Binder community: http://bindersupport.

A web version is in BETA with an Android version
coming soon.
Where Can You Learn More?
Why Would You Use It?
The latest information on Assignment Grader can be
found on the D2L site: http://binder.desire2learn.com/
Geared towards student use, Binder provided convenient access to course materials. Content can be saved
for off-line viewing and note-taking. Students are able
to highlight text, underline or strike through words,
draw and otherwise annotate materials.
Annotated documents can be printed or exported from
the Binder app for review.
How Does It Work?
Using a D2L Edudentity account of Facebook login,
students (and faculty) can connect their Binder to
Springboard, Dropbox, Windows Skydrive and iOS
camera roll.
Once connected, students can “fetch” content to their
Binder. Fetched content is downloaded to the device
for offline viewing and annotating. Most types of files
that can be added to Springboard are available for
download.
Supported document formats include:
