Adjusting Audio Levels (Macintosh)
Please note: These instructions assume that the audio capture device will be the Audio Technica
PRO 88W wireless lavalier mivrophone and that you are using a USB audio adapter.
1. Connect the “Phone Out” output fron the
microphone receiver to the USB audio adapter.
2. Open System Preferences by selecting the black Apple logo
in the top left corner of the screen and selecting
“System Preferences.”
3. Select the “Sound” icon.
4. Select the “Input” tab and
then the
“Generic USB Audio Device.”
5. Adjust the level so that the
meter goes up approximately
three-fourths of the way
when measuring the loudest
sounds.
6. The audio level is set correctly when the level meter in
the Panopto Recorder averages in the middle of the green and
does not move into the red even with the loudest sounds.
