The Commercial and Economic Development Directorate at Council aims to
encourage and maintain economic growth in the city. The team supports a
highly diverse and dynamic economy that services areas well beyond the Local
Government’s boundaries.
As part of Economic Development team, the placement student will assist
with:

Maintaining strong working relationships with local businesses;

Participating in both internal and external meetings;

Working with staff to update information;

Assist the team with specific project work.
