POSTGRADUATE STUDENT CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
The conference committee is particularly interested in having postgraduate student participation in the conference.
Postgraduate students wishing to attend the UNDRIP Symposium are invited to apply for scholarships sponsored by
the New Zealand Law Foundation. The scholarships are open to any postgraduate law student enrolled in a New
Zealand university and are awarded on the basis of merit through a process of application to the conference organisers.
Up to 12 scholarships in total will be awarded to applicants from the following regions: Auckland, Wellington, Dunedin,
Christchurch and Waikato. The Scholarship comprises a full student registration fee and a travel grant.
The value of the grants are:
Auckland $300 each
Victoria $500 each
Otago $700 each
Canterbury $600 each
Waikato $160 each
Interested applicants are invited to submit an application that includes a letter of recommendation from a member of
academic staff familiar with the student and his or her work. Further details on the conference can be found at
