University of Waikato Self Service Portal Getting started The LANDesk Self Service tool is a central place where you can log, update, and track the progress of your ICT problems and service requests. 1 To get started, navigate to LANDesk Self Service tool with either of these preferred browsers (Chrome or Firefox), https://landesk.waikato.ac.nz 2 On this screen enter your Waikato credentials. 3 To log a new problem click the Incident: Report a Problem icon and fill in the required fields. 4 To log a new service request click the Request: Request a Service icon and fill in the required fields. 5 Keep updated with scheduled and unexpected ICT Outages. 6 From your LANDesk Self Service Portal you can ask/submit a question, request access to or support for a service, report a fault and view all of your current and previous jobs requests. Check on the progress of your ticket: Version: 2.1 To view your previously logged tickets with the Service Desk, navigate through My Incidents and My Requests. You can filter by Reference, Date, Summary or Status to narrow down your search. To filter/sort just click the tab at the top e.g. Summary. Provide more information or request feedback on your ticket with Actions. You can view progress of your ticket under the Notes tab.
