Substantial Skills Requirement
Effective February 2, 2006, law school faculty adopted a new upper-level skills requirement for every student, effective with the entering class of Fall
2005.
Each student is already required to take Civil Procedure I and II, Legal Analysis, Research and Writing I and II, Advanced Legal Research, and
Legal Drafting. Effective with the entering class of 2005, students are required to take at least 2 additional credits of upper-level skills instruction,
selected from a designated menu of courses identified as skills-centered. The current courses that are designated as skills courses are:
