NOTE 1: Beginning with the July 2000 Ohio Bar Exam, Family Law and Wills, Trusts & Estates II
are no longer officially listed Ohio Bar courses. However, they may be subject areas tested on
the MPT portion of the bar examination. Students on probation wishing to take either of these
courses must contact the Dean of Students in writing, for special permission prior to
registration. Students on probation cannot substitute either of these two courses to meet the
required minimum of 18 credit hours of bar courses.
NOTE 2: Students planning to sit for an out-of-state bar examination may receive special
permission to enroll in a bar course for that state. The student must submit a request in writing
to the Dean of Students for permission prior to registration.
