Wayne County Women’s Network Scholarship
The Wayne County Women's Network is an organization that supports the professional
development of women in Wayne County through networking and recognizing and celebrating
achievements.
The Wayne County Women’s Network is offering financial assistance in the form of a
scholarship to help a Wayne County woman achieve success in her profession. This scholarship
can be used to continue education for professional development either in a degreed or a
certification program.





Must be a female at least 21 years old
Must reside in Wayne County, Ohio
Must be enrolled in a professional development program for either certification or an
advanced degree
Must provide 3 references
Must have good financial credit and no criminal record
Award Availability:
A scholarship of up to $1,000.00 awarded annually. Funds will be available by February 1, 2014
Deadline:
All applications and supporting documents must be received by mail by November 1, 2013
Scholarships Awarded on the basis of:
 A demonstration of career goals , potential commitment, and future ability of the
applicant to make a significant contribution to their chosen profession
 An understanding and appreciation of professional networking
 Community Service Involvement
 Past Academic Performance
