Dr. Tapan Choure (1965) is the Professor and senior faculty of School of Studies in Economics,
Vikram University, Ujjain. He is a good Scholar in the field of Economics. His articles, research
papers and essays have been published in National and State level research journals, newspaper
and other magazines. Dr. Choure is a member of different economic research organizations and
societies of MP and India. He is also a Fellow of The Indian Econometric Society and Indian
Economic Association. Dr. Tapan Choure is President of the Madhya Pradesh Economic
association (MPEA). He prepared a web site (www.mpeconomicassociation.org) for MPEA in
2009.He is a teacher of Business Economics, Agriculture Economics, Econometrics and
Mathematical Economics. Four books and many research papers published in various Research
journals of the Economics and other related subjects. His book on Information Technology
Industry in India is well known book in the field of IT Sector. 16 Ph. Ds and more than 125 M.
Phil. work are awarded in his supervision. He also Participated and present the number of papers
in International and National seminars and Conferences in India. He also delivered the key-note
addresses and presidential speech in number of Seminars, Conferences and workshops. He also
deliver so many lectures in UGC and ICSSR Orientation and Refresher Courses as a Resource
Persons in different Universities and Institutes of India. He was joined the Vikram University in
the year 1989.
Presently, He is Professor (2006) and Head of the Department since November 2007 in School of
Studies in Economics, Vikram University Ujjain. He is Chair-man of Board of Studies in Economics,
Vikram University and member of central board of studies in Economics, Govt. of M.P. Bhopal.
